KateCreativeGifts didn’t start in a boardroom; it started at our home during a year that really threw everything at us. Between losing my dear dad (my absolute best mate), career changes and navigating some really tough health battles, my husband and I found ourselves looking for a bit of light in the dark. When you’re going through the hard yards, you realise just how much a friendly chat or a thoughtful gesture matters.

With our two little ones watching on, we decided to pick ourselves up and pour our focus into something positive. We started learning the ropes of design and crafting and Shopify from scratch, right through the middle of my treatment. What began as a way to keep our spirits up has grown into KateCreativeGifts.
